It takes a special kind of athlete to be able to earn a college scholarship to play sports in college, so imagine the kind of athleticism Seward junior outside hitter Camryn Opfer has when you realize she has the opportunity to play either volleyball or basketball in college.

The 6'0 Opfer had more than 400 kills last season or the Bluejays to bring her career total to more than 1,000. However, she's also a standout in basketball, which complicates her recruiting process.

"I am still yet to decide if I want to play volleyball or basketball in college, so I have no clue when I will decide to commit," Opfer said. "I definitely haven’t made my mind up though, I still have lots of options."

Opfer said - in terms of volleyball - she has made visits to Doane, Hastings, Concordia and Nebraska-Kearney. She also said she has visits scheduled for later this school year to Northwest Missouri State, Wayne State and Washburn.
