All of these players are playing for top clubs in their area, and some took their high school teams to new levels. Here is a pre-club look at some of the unsigned athletes in the Class of 2020.
Julia Treichel Julia Treichel 5'8" | OH Wisconsin Lutheran | 2020 State WI – 5’9 – Outside Hitter – Wisconsin Lutheran (41-8) – Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold
Treichel has a high volleyball IQ, scrappy, and the ability to play 6 rotations. She knows how to terminate and win, having just come off a decent post season run with Wisconsin Lutheran. This club season Treichel will be playing with Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold, which features other top 2020’s Elise Goetzinger Elise Goetzinger 6'4" | MB Mount Horeb | 2020 State WI , Kiara Reinhardt Kiara Reinhardt 6'3" | MB Cedarburg | 2020 State WI , and Aubrey Hamilton Aubrey Hamilton 6'0" | OH Arrowhead | 2020 State WI . 17 Gold will have a challenging schedule this club season that will test them, as well as gain a lot of great exposure at top tournaments across the midwest.
Olivia Dir Olivia Dir 5'9" | OH Union Grove | 2020 State WI – 5’10 – Outside Hitter – Union Grove (30-14) – Wisconsin Juniors 17-1
She is powerful, quick, and has a great shot selection. This past season, Dir led Union Grove with 384 kills and 69 aces. She received Honorable Mention All-State by the WVCA. Dir has athletic ability, IQ, and the ability to find a way to score points. She will be a great addition to any program.
Jacqueline Smith Jacqueline Smith 5'11" | OH Northland Piines | 2020 State WI – 5’11 – Outside Hitter – Northland Pines (23-15) – Wisconsin Ice 18 National
Smith has been receiving some attention from coaches being very fundamentally sound and explosive. This past season she was Player of the Year in the Great Northern Conference and 1st Team All-State with 679 kills, 455 digs, and an impressive .447 hitting percentage. Smith would be a great fit as a 6- rotation outside at the next level.
Isabelle Schauer Isabelle Schauer 5'7" | S Watertown | 2020 State WI – 5’7 – Setter – Watertown (41-6) – Milwaukee Sting 17 Black
Schauer is no stranger to big matches playing for Watertown, which includes a solid season against some tough opponents this past fall. In her junior season, she earned MaxPreps Player Of The Week and Honorable Mention All-State. Over the course of the 2018 season, Schauer finished with 1038 assists, 298 digs, and 104 kills.

Pozorski is a defensive specialist for a state team, and she is one of the many liberos from the class of 2020 that is a solid catch. This past season 223 digs as a defensive specialist is solid when playing for a team that terminates. Pozorski partnered with fellow club and high school teammate Nadia Reese Nadia Reese 5'10" Oconomowoc | 2020 State WI (2020-5’7-Defensive Specialist/Pin Hitter), and they will be a dynamic defensive duo this club season, as well as next year as a strong contender in DI to potentially take home some more hardware.
Aubrey Schoeneman Aubrey Schoeneman OH Mercer | 2020 State WI – 5’11 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – Mercer (32-6) – Northwoods Extreme
Schoeneman has over 500 kills in her career at Mercer. This past season she earned All State Honorable Mention honors, as well as leading Mercer to a solid 2nd place finish in the Indianhead – East Conference. Schoeneman can handle herself in serve-receive, transitions well into attacking, and knows how to score points.
