The 18 Gold division of the Premier Mizuno Showcase was won by Premier’s 18 Gold team. After sweeping Premier 17 Gold, Premier 15 Gold and Omaha Volleyball Club 18s in pool play, Premier 18 Gold had to hold on for a 2-1 victory over Premier 18 Black in the tournament semifinals.
Meanwhile, Premier 16 Gold knocked off Banzai 181 2-0, Premier 18 Black 2-1 and Action Motion 17 Chaos 2-0 in pool play before defeating Premier 17 Gold 2-0 in the semifinals.
In the championship match, it was Premier 18 Gold that walked away with a 2-0 win over Premier 16 Gold. Premier 17 Gold and Premier 18 Black tied for third.
In the consolation bracket final, Premier 15 Gold defeated Banzai 181 2-1.

In the 16 Gold division of the tournament, Premier 16 Black won the championship.
There are no Gold Level tournaments in the Great Plains Region this weekend as several teams will be taking part in the Northern Lights January Thaw this weekend at the CHI Center.
