- Celia Cullen, Brighton/Legacy: Cullen has definitely really made a name for herself over the last 12 months. Stepping up at 16 to play for Legacy 18-Elite led to a chance to compete with the Youth National Training Team last summer. Currently Cullen has Legacy 18-Elite playing like the best club team in the nation. The 6’1” Michigan State commit is only getting better.
- Jordyn Gates, Grand Rapids Christian/FaR Out: Gates flawlessly ran a dynamic Grand Rapid Christian attack this fall, leading the Eagles to a Division 2 state championship. Now competing for FaR Out 18 Black, Gates is showing her talents against the best players in the country. The future Arkansas Razorback has all the tools.
- Alexa Rousseau, Bloomfield Hills/Legacy: A 6’3”, left-handed setter is pretty hard to find. Rousseau is a unique talent that is fundamentally sound and getting better with her decision-making and serving. The future Northwestern Wildcat is a great asset for Legacy 17-Elite this club season.
- Elizabeth Norris, Corunna/Michigan Elite: Norris is a tremendous setter that showed her all-around talent this fall when she led the state in kills for Corunna as the Cavs reached the D2 semifinals. The versatile player is a real asset for Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno. A North Dakota commit, Norris should have a big 2019 ahead of her.
- Lexie Beeke, Gull Lake/Dead Frog: Beeke has been working her way up setter rankings over the last year and is coming off an impressive fall for Gull Lake that led to a quarterfinal appearance in D1. Now, Beeke is sharpening her technique at Dead Frog this club season.
- Kaylee Maat, Hudsonville/FaR Out: A Ferris State commit, Maat also competes for FaR Out 18 Black, getting to work alongside Gates. This fall, Maat had Hudsonville as one of the top teams in the state, taking D1 runner-up Rockford to five sets in regional play.
- Shannon Jennings, Novi/Michigan Elite: Jennings had a tough role of replacing Erin O’Leary at Novi, but she held her own. Jennings has a smart, aggressive style to her play and is making some positive strides for Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno this club season.
- Kacie Stoneburner, Grandville/Impact Dynamic Volleyball: Grandville had a largely young roster, but Stoneburner was a shining star that gives them a lot of hope for the fall 2019 season. Competing for Impact Dynamic Volleyball, Stoneburner is a big-time talent that’s hoping to give the club some big-time victories this club season.
- Andrea Schriver, Sparta/MVA: The setter for MVA 17 National Black is uncommitted, but she should be garnering some attention this summer as she continues to improve with MVA. Despite a disappointing postseason for Sparta, Schriver should help the team take a step forward next fall.
- Aubrey Bates, Coopersville/Inside Out: Bates was a second team All-State honoree in Division 2 after helping lead Coopersville to a district championship. You can see Bates really stand out as part of Inside Out this club season.
