Ashley Habermehl (Outside Hitter, 414 15 Elite)
Ashley has an awesome vertical and is a very smart player. She sees the court well and knows how to act on it. As she continues to grow in volleyball it will be great to see her power and ability to see the court well merge. Ashley is also a fairly strong passer, a skill that will only continue to improve over time.
Maya Evans (Libero, I AM VBC)
Maya is ridiculously fast and talks a lot on the court. She is scrappy and sees the court well. Maya will be an exciting player to watch as she grows into her speed and develops her ability to anticipate the ball.
Grace Holschuh (Middle Blocker, One Wisconsin 15-1)
Grace has a good vertical and a nice arm swing. Her form is great and as she gets older and her power and control merge she will be an extremely effective middle and offensive asset. Additionally, continuing to play at a high level should make her a strong blocker and overall player.
Tatum Kebisek (Setter, Milwaukee Sting 15 White)
Tatum has a huge well of potential. She moves the ball around the court well and has nice, clean hands. She is very intentional with her sets and is clearly aware of what the other side of the court is doing.
Sophie Illman (Libero/DS, Milwaukee Sting 15 Black)
Sophie has a ton of energy on the court and is an extremely positive player. She is fast and talks a lot. It is clear that she will be a great leader as she continues to play and with such a spirited personality she will definitely go far.
Lydia Biggin (Right Side, Milwaukee Sting 15 White)
Lydia makes an impact on her team every time she is on the court. This lefty has a great arm swing and is a smart player. She is fun to watch and as her arm swing speeds up and she continues to develop power, she will be an even better player!
These athletes really stood out to me in the first few weekends of club play. They are athletes to watch and who will likely grow a lot in the current club season and continue being successful throughout high school and, hopefully, into college.
