Here is a recap of how teams from Nebraska did in the 15-18 Open divisions on Saturday. All Open divisions consist of one pool with every team playing each other to determine the champion over the course of three days.
In 18 Open, Nebraska ONE 18 Titanium and Nebraska Elite 18 Ying each went 3-0 to get off to a fast start on Saturday, as did Nebraska Elite 18 Yang – giving Nebraska three teams in strong title contention heading into Sunday. Premier 18 Black stands at 1-2 after the first day.
Nebraska Elite 17 Frost went 2-1 on the first day of competition I 17 Open while Premier 17 Black started the tournament 0-3.
In 16 Open, Nebraska Elite 2.0 is a perfect 3-0 while Premier 16 Black is 2-1 and Banzai 161 is 1-2.
In 15 Open, Nebraska Elite 15 KOA and Premier 15 Black each went 3-0 on Saturday while Nebraska Juniors 15 Black and Nebraska Elite 15 Fiji each went 0-3.
Open competition continues on Sunday and Monday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
