The tournament, which runs a unique tournament and brings in high-caliber squads from every corner of the nation, use to be in Salt Lake City but now calls Kansas City home.
On the first day of competition on Saturday, three teams from Nebraska went undefeated.
In the 16-and-under division, VCNebraska 16 Elite went 3-0, including a win a three-set win over Arizona Revolution 16 Adidas. Meanwhile, both Premier 17 Gold and 18 Gold also went undefeated.
Premier 17 Gold swept all three of its opponents, including a 30-28, 25-23 win over Kokoro 171. Premier 18 Gold also swept all three of its opponents while going 3-0.
In the 15-and-under division, Premier 15 Gold went 2-1, with its only loss coming 27-25, 24-26, 15-9 to AVC Cleveland ROX. VCNebraska 15 Elite went 1-2 in the division with all three of its matches going three sets.
Premier 16 Gold went 1-2, but was playing without Lindsay Krause on the first day. Nebraska Juniors 17 Black went 0-3 on the first day with two losses coming in three sets while Nebraska 18 Black went 1-2, beating Dakine Warriors in three sets.
VCNebraska 17 Elite and 18 Elite each went 2-1 in their respective divisions.
The tournament continues through Monday.
