Now that the calendar has officially turned to February, things are about to really heat up in the club volleyball world.

As usual, Nebraska has a stacked line-up of club teams that have the potential to make some noise in the national tournaments and championships later this spring and summer. Here is a look at where teams from Nebraska rank according to PrepVolleyball.com's rankings up to this point in the season.

18s

It's always a little difficult to project how well 18s teams will do because so many of the athletes already have their college scholarships lined-up and many times kids are ready to move on to the next level mentally. But, Nebraska has good strength at the 18s.

VCNebraska 18 Elite comes in at #39 nationally in the 18s rankings followed by Nebraska Elite 18 Ying at #74 and Premier 18 Gold at #80. Nebraska ONE 18 Titanium was among the teams in the honorable mention list.

This seems right, to me, so far as neither Nebraska Elite nor Premier performed the way I'm sure they would have liked to at the January Thaw tournament against some of the top teams in the nation. We'll get out
