Such a tournament takes place this weekend in Sioux Falls, where a handful of teams from Nebraska will be competing in the AAU Grand Prix at The Pentagon athletic facility.
In the 18s division – which features 20 teams – Nebraska Juniors 18 Black comes in as the #4 overall seed. Meanwhile, Nebraska Juniors 18 Red is the #12 seed and Nebraska Gold 18s are the #13 seed.
There are no teams from Nebraska competing in the 17s division in Sioux Falls, but in the 16s division, Nebraska Juniors 16 Black comes in as the #4 seed and Nebraska Juniors 16 Red is the #10 seed in the 24-team tournament.
In the 22-team 15s division in Sioux Falls, Nebraska Juniors 15 Black is the #6 seed while River City Juniors 15 White is the #13 seed and Performance VBC 15 Nike is the #19 seed.
The tournament begins on Saturday and concludes on Sunday.
