This will also provide some momentum for teams heading into a more quiet part of the schedule come May before the big push for nationals. Check out some new names to put on the radar for the Northern Lights Qualifier this weekend.
Chloe Largent – Central Iowa Select 15-1 – Middle Blocker/Outside – Class of 2022
Largent is one of the better athletes you might find in the Class of 2022. She had a breakout Freshman campaign this past fall and has continued to develop quite the all around game in the front row. She can swing on the outside, but this season has been most utilized as a middle. Extremely quick, CIS has a lot of options they can run with Largent who will be fun to watch as her career progresses.
Berkley Mischler had one of the top verticals at the Prep Dig Top 250 Wisconsin.Berkley Mischler – FC Elite 15 Navy – Middle Blocker – Class of 2022
Mischler has some really quick hops and the ability to tough 10 feet on her approach. She makes a great connection with setter Emma Baierl. What Mischler might be most effective at is her ability to get a hand on the ball blocking. She can alter a shot or put the roof on to gather a lot of momentum for her team.

Calia Clubb – Iowa Rockets 15R – Right Side – Class of 2022
Iowa Rockets 15R have already sealed the deal on a National bid, but they want more as they will compete in Open. Macy Daufeldt is definitely a go to hitter for Rockets, but there are plenty of weapons setter Kora Ruff can go to. Clubb is able to set a solid block and provide a legit scoring threat from the right side.

Ella Christ – Northern Lights 15-1 – Right Side – Class of 2023
Christ has been able to compete for her high school team as an 8th grader as a big arm. Northern Lights 15-2 will be competing in the 15 USA Division and are the overall three seed.
Alayna Finucan – CIS 15M – Libero – Class of 2022
Olivia Lombardi – CIS 15M – Libero – Class of 2023
Finucan and Lombardi make quite the duo where CIS has the ability to double libero. Setter, Lauren Carter is able to really do some fun things when she gets a perfect pass and get the offense going in-system. Head Coach Tina Carter can be creative with her lineups with a lot of solid all around athletes.
Cassie Sieling – Vital 15-1 – Right Side – Class of 2022
Sieling is a six rotation right side. With a lot of spring in her approach and a really deadly left handed shot, she is really able to use her athleticism to be effective all the way around.
Madeline Knudtson – MN Select 14-1 – MB/RS – Class of 2023
This MN Select 14-1 squad is quite the group to watch and will continue to be with four athletes that are six feet tall or more. They aren’t just tall, they are also well trained and disciplined. Knudtson is really athletic out of the middle that has a great read for where to block and when – she can also work extremely well with her setters in transition too.
Kyla Dunaway – FC Elite 14 Navy – RS – Class of 2023
Dunaway already has the makings to be a two sport star when she enters Kimberly High School that has made it to the state tournament for volleyball and basketball in the past year. Extremely strong on the right side being 6’2, she has the athleticism to go with the height and will be part of a really physical and athletic FC Elite 14 Navy team competing in Open.
