For some its a trap game, others it’s a second life. Who are some teams that are really dangerous when it comes to a crossover match.
Wisconsin Juniors 17-1
Wisconsin Juniors has had some huge wins throughout the year and can compete with the top teams. With solid ball control provided by Amber Bischel who recently committed to Ole Miss and two solid options in the middle with Colorado State commit Karina Leber and Emily Alan, they are a tough matchup because they can hurt the other side of the net in so many ways. Union Grove High School teammates, Olivia Dir and Karlee Lois provide a solid outside/setter combo that always leaves Juniors with an outlet to score points.
Kokoro 17-1 (MN)
The squad has had a bit of a rollercoaster of a season with various injuries and illness that has put players in new positions. However, coming into AAU Nationals at full strength, this squad is looking repeat the spark they had last year winning a key crossover for a top 15 finish. Maddie Whittington will be heading to Illinois and is a powerful middle blocker that can take over a match. Combine her with two solid setters in Lauren Stenman (Lewis) and Maddi Kealy (MN-Duluth), the versatility of this team is tough to matchup with.

Capital 17 Adidas (WI)
Scrappy defense, active along the net, and depth really makes this Capital squad dangerous come Day 3 and Day 4 of a tournament. Milla Malik (Buffalo) and KJ McNabb (Loyola) are the big names on the pins and just have this electricity about them that is infectious to the rest of their team. This team has been together for a while and with solid team chemistry and a whole lot of athleticism they will be fun to watch starting later this week in 17 Premier.
Nebraska Juniors 17 Black
Halle Theis (Regis) and Lauren Taubenheim (Nebraska-Kearney) always provide a solid option on the pin. Theis is an electric athlete who finds a way with great court vision and multiple shots, where Taubenheim brings a high contact point and a really heavy swing. They are propelled by libero Saige Christo who might be one of the top uncommitted 2020 liberos in the field.
Nebraska Elite 17 Frost
All around talent, extremely balanced 17 Frost will be competing in 17 Open where the overall athleticism of their team will be a major advantage for them heading into the weekend. Tria McClean runs the show for Frost where she can put the ball anywhere for her teammates to score. One of the big scoring threats is Myah Delgado-Walker who can hit anywhere in the front row, but is especially dangerous from the right side.
