CIS has had a rollercoaster of a season finishing second at the Triple Crown NIT in Kansas City with some of the top teams in the country. However, from there is was injuries, sickness, and some more injuries where this team has had to scrap its way through the season. CIS earned their way into the Open field with an at-large bid based on their wins versus other teams who are in the open field and how they faired in qualifiers. Lauren Carter of Winterset, the Denver commit runs the show as an athletic setter who can just do it all. Her favorite target would be Hayden Kubik who is one of the top Class of 2022 pin hitters in the nation. However, make sure to know these names heading into the weekend:
Chloe Largent – 6’1 middle blocker where she can get up fast to close a block and brings an energy and physicality to the court. A small town athlete, big time motor, and just a grit to her – that’s what Iowa produces.
Myah Shipley – Shipley is so smooth. She is long, she has the ability to make something out of nothing, and is very quietly effective. Shipley will be an X-Factor for this team and will need to score some points to keep the pins open.
Alayna Finucan – Finucan is fundamentally solid, has great feet, and finds a way to get to the ball and make it playable. The soon to be Sophomore from Webster City is one of two liberos for CIS and will be one to keep tabs on as she develops through her high school and club career.

Iowa Rockets 15R
Gabrielle Schroeder of Iowa Rockets serving.Six Pack 15
Iowa Rockets 15R has the depth and balance to really make a run in this division. Macy Daufeldt, a six rotation outside hitter and Kora Ruff, one of the top setters in the Class of 2022 have been leading the way the whole season, however there are few more athletes that will be key to the success of Rockets that have really been making waves this past couple months of the club season.
Ella McLaughlin – an outside hitter who just has an electric arm. She went from being able to hit the ball hard to now seeing the block and mixing up her shots. With her ability to score points on the outside it really opens up the middle for Alexis Moses and Ella Ramsey.
Calia Clubb – Clubb has developed into a real offensive threat and is also a stopper on defense with her block. With a heavy swing she is tough to dig and stay in system for the opposing team.
Gabbie Schroeder – Solid. Efficient movements, her platform is under control and just does her job. She makes the routine play looks easy and really starts the offense for a powerful lineup.
Morgan Brandt – Six Pack 15 – Brandt was one of the last commits of the Class of 2022 before the clock struck May 1 when the Class of 2022 would be quiet for the next year until after their Sophomore year on June 15. The athletic and physical setter will be able to help her team in a variety of ways and have Six Pack be one of the sleepers of the tournament.
