KEARNEY – For the third-straight summer, Millard South left the Kearney Top 10 Team Camp as the champions of the A-B-C1 division after dropping just one set of the course of the competition. 

Millard South finished play in the championship division with a 17-1 set record in nine matches, dropping only a set to Sidney in a 25-19, 20-25 split with the Raiders. A couple things added to how impressive the Millard South show was. First is the fact that only one team – Kearney Catholic – was able to score 20 points in both sets against the Patriots. In the 18 total sets in the championship portion, Millard South surrendered only 20 or more points in a set five times.
