#7 Alexis Boling – 6’0 – Middle Blocker – Waukesha West
Boling will be looking to do some damage in her 3rd varsity season at Waukesha West. She has already accumulated almost 500 kills and 165 blocks. She was a driving force for the Wolverines, and she will take on even more with the graduation of Kaylee Lorincz, Anna Nerad, and Darragh Dixon. Boling is an athletic spark and powerful middle with a skill set that is hard to beat.
Josie Halbeib#14 Josie Halbeib – 6’1 – Setter/Right Side – Sun Prairie
Personally, I can’t wait to see where Halbeib ends up. I had a blast watching her last fall at the Triton Classic, and she’s been on my radar ever since. Halbeib is a great athlete that improves every time she steps on the court; and when she gets locked in, she can be dangerous. In her 1st varsity season for the Cardinals, she recorded 679 assists,179 kills, and 157 digs.
#11 Kaitlyn Riley – 6’0 – Middle Blocker – Catholic Memorial
Riley may be one of the quickest middle blockers in the state, and we know, along with some of her club teammates, she’s received offers, but we haven’t seen any verbal commitments from her yet. She is lethal offensively, hitting hard angles and over blockers, and defensively, with an insane press back into the court. During Riley’s first two varsity seasons with the Crusaders, she has recorded 255 kills while hitting a .398 and tallied 171 blocks.
Katie Winkler#5 Katie Winkler – 5’11 – Right Side Hitter – East Troy
Winkler is a scary weapon on the right side. She was a huge part to East Troy’s Division 2 State Title in 2018 because of her ability to shut down the opposing team’s outside hitters and terminating from the right side where many teams struggle defending. Winkler is a solid lefty with the potential to do some serious damage on the collegiate scene.
#3 Lizzie Binder – 6’2 – Pin Hitter – Sheboygan North
Binder is such a strong utility player that even if she couldn’t pound the ball the way she can, I would want her on my roster for her versatility alone! She can play defense, attack out of the back row, and puts up a huge block that gives hitters a fit. Binder has a high volleyball IQ and competitive!
Mariah Grunze#10 Mariah Grunze – 6’0 – Outside Hitter – Waterford
Grunze is quickly on the rise and will continue as she partners up with Waterford’s Josie Johnson. She starts her 3rd year of varsity with 651 kills and 568 digs. Grunze gets better each season and, as Waterford’s hitters gain experience, more opportunities for Grunze to terminate will appear.
#16 Tatum Catalano – 5’11 – Outside Hitter – Germantown
Catalano is an athletic outside, and as a two-year starter for Germantown, she has tallied 423 kills, 347 digs, and 90 blocks. She will most likely receive a majority of sets this fall and her defensive game should have increased a great deal over the club season. Catalano will be a fun one to watch!
