Jordyn GatesJordyn Gates, Sr. Grand Rapids Christian – Gates (Arkansas) is the engine that runs the stacked Grand Rapids Christian attack. Full of life, Gates is a Miss Volleyball finalist that has sharpened her defense and serving over the last year to really make her a dominant all-around talent for the defending Division 2 state champs.
Alexa Rousseau, Sr. Bloomfield Hills – At 6’3”, Rousseau (Northwestern) is an impressive talent to watch at setter. The left-handed Miss Volleyball finalist has shown a lot of improvement for her senior year and has Bloomfield Hills eying a conference title in 2019. Able to do it all, her blocking and attacking ability is overshadowed by her consistent sets.
Aubrey Bates, Sr. Coopersville – An All-State setter, Bates has Coopersville looking like a
Julia Bishopdefinite threat in the Division 2 title race. Calm and collected, Bates can set a ball from anywhere and make it look easy. She will be one to watch on Saturday.
Julia Bishop, Jr. Farmington Hills Mercy – The Marlins have hitting for days, but it wouldn’t matter if Bishop (Michigan State) wasn’t as good as she is. Bishop makes things look effortless and has great vision and leadership skills.
Sophia Powell, Jr. Lowell – The Red Arrows have been the rising program in Division 1 in recent years and Powell has been able to have the Lowell offense constantly getting better. Her defensive play also has been a big reason for Lowell’s success.
