The former KIVA players who advanced to the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament are Nadia Dieudonne (Western Kentucky), Lee Ann Cunningham (Rice), Shelby Olsen (Northern Kentucky), Anna Burke (Northern Kentucky), Kaelin Gentile (Northern Kentucky), Callie Martin (Wright State), Jenna Story (Wright State), Alli Stumler (Kentucky), Allie Gregory (Florida), Paige Hammons (Florida), Alexis Hendricks (Louisville), Lexi Hamilton (Louisville), Karly Basham (Texas A&M), Sierra Rayzor (Samford), Megan Crush (American) and Madalon Simpson (Virginia Commonwealth).
Number 9 seed Kentucky has advanced into the Sweet 16 of the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament after shutting out Michigan 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-20) on its home floor at Memorial Coliseum on Saturday night.
Helping to lead Kentucky to the win, Stumler a sophomore outside hitter, recorded 11 kills on 33 swings.
Kentucky advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season dating back to 2017.
Following the victory over Michigan, Kentucky improved to 25-6. Kentucky will face Washington in Waco, Texas in the NCAA Sweet 16 on Friday, Dec. 13.
