Neal excelled throughout her senior season with national powerhouse Assumption, which hails from Louisville. Prior to competing in the 2019 KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament, Neal registered 105 kills, 23 blocks, 23 assists, 69 digs and 5 aces for the Rockets during her senior season.
With Neal helping to lead the way, Assumption shut out rival Mercy 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-18) in the 2019 KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament title match.
The productive Neal was a key contributor as Assumption compiled a 43-0 record and won state and national championships during the 2018 season, which was her junior campaign.
Prior to defeating nemesis Mercy in the KHSAA title match, Assumption topped Breathitt County, Notre Dame and Henry Clay in the KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament. The Rockets ended the 2019 high school volleyball season 36-7.
Air Force is a member of the Mountain West. In addition to Air Force, the Mountain West includes Colorado State, Wyoming, UNLV, Boise State, San Diego State, Nevada, Fresno State, New Mexico, San Jose State and Utah State. In November, Air Force concluded the 2019 college volleyball season 8-22 overall and 5-13 in the Mountain West.
