Coach Traci Krusemark: Junior middle hitter Lauren Pick is a 3-year starter for the Blue Devils. She is our go-to hitter and plays all 6 rotations. She had 550 kills, 356 digs, and 31 blocks this season. For her career this far, she has 1230 kills. Lauren is a vocal leader on the court and the team follows her lead. She has helped lead the team to the state tournament for the last 2 years.

Coach Emily Restau: She has a definite passion, love, and understanding for the sport of volleyball. She is an extremely well rounded 6 rotation player as well as a leader on the team. She pushes herself as well as her teammates to try to get to that next level. Hannah not only is a leader on the court but she is very knowledgeable in the sport as well. She understands the basic fundamentals and is always helping other teammates during practice and on the court. She is a great listener on the court and can change her mechanics to find openings on the court very quickly. She not only is a great front-row player, but she also sees the court and reads hitters very well defensively.

Coach Courtney VanGroningen: Jessie has been a 6 rotation player for us the last 2 years. She’s the most well-rounded player we have. That means she serves, passes, blocks, hits, digs, does everything well. She’s just a complete player. She led our team in kills, blocks, and was second in digs this season. She has been our go-to and most consistent player. She has been the difference-maker on our team this year and has stepped up her leadership this season. Jessie did a great job this season using her vision to read the defense and hit different shots. Her vision and execution helped Jessie have a .314 hitting percentage this season.

Coach Libby Lowman: Caitlyn is an outside hitter and key 6 rotation player. Caitlyn and fellow outside hitter Jessica Babcock lead us in almost every stat from digs, aces, and kills. She is a 3 sport athlete ( volleyball, basketball, track) which I believe is one of the reasons she is successful. She had shoulder surgery right after the season. She is going to work on some setting and other positions to rest her shoulder so she is ready for her senior year. She is hoping to play volleyball or run track at college and I believe she will be very successful at whatever she chooses to do.

Coach Tali Reeves: Lauren moved to outside last year after playing middle the year before with no back row. She has turned into a dynamic 6 rotation player who can do it all. Lauren had a breakout year last year taking on a big role for the team. Go to player and great leader. Lead the team on kills with 297.

PrepDig – Josie is a true six rotation player that leads by example. Her athleticism and consistency in the front and back row allow the team to be in system more often than not. She has been a stable force in the St. Paul line up the last three years.
