Club volleyball teams from Louisville and across the nation took the floor for season openers earlier in the month.
Here are 10 Louisville 18s to watch.
Kristen Clemons: A 6-1 middle hitter/opposite hitter from Sacred Heart Academy, Clemons has signed with Belmont University. Clemons is competing for KIVA 18 Red in the 2020 club season.
Anna DeBeer: The 2019 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball, DeBeer is headed to the University of Louisville. A six foot outside hitter, DeBeer led Assumption to its third straight state championship in 2019. The University of Louisville signee is competing for KIVA 18 Red.
Taylor Eisert: A 5-7 setter who starred at Sacred Heart Academy, Eisert has signed with Middle Tennessee State University. Following an exceptional senior season, Eisert is competing for KIVA 18 Red.
Claire Fuller: A 5-6 defensive specialist from Assumption High School, Fuller has signed with Jacksonville State University. A member of KIVA 18 Red, Fuller contributed to Assumption’s state championship campaign in 2019.
Anna Lococo: A 5-5 libero from Sacred Heart Academy, Lococo has signed with Bellarmine University. Lococo, who is competing for Union 18-1, will have an opportunity to stay home and play college volleyball in Louisville.
Katie McKune: A 5-11 opposite hitter/middle hitter from Assumption High School, McKune has signed with Eastern Kentucky University. McKune is competing for KIVA 18 Red with several of her high school teammates.
Chloe Mingus: A 5-8 defensive specialist from Assumption High School, Mingus has signed with Middle Tennessee State University. Mingus is currently competing for KIVA 18 Red.
Rylee Rader: The 2018 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball, Rader is headed to Ohio State University. A 6-3 middle hitter/outside hitter, Rader was instrumental in Assumption capturing its third straight state title in 2019. Rader is competing for KIVA 18 Red.
Cecilia Rush: A 5-9 defensive specialist from Providence High School in Indiana, Rush has signed with the University of Louisville. Rush, a member of Union 18-1, excelled throughout her final prep season.
Madison Sweeney: A six-foot senior middle blocker from Eminence High School, Sweeney is uncommitted. Currently competing for Union 18-1, Sweeney led her high school team in kills during the 2019 season.
