Huron Valley Volleyball Club is a smaller program from the Ann Arbor area, but the early 2020 season is bringing some positive results.

HVVC fields national teams in the 17’s, 16’s and 15’s and each has the potential for some big things this year. A lot of familiarity within the roster should help HVVC have solid team chemistry. The key will be for continued improvement throughout the year to raise their level of play. HVVC is going to be challenged with each event, but it has the opportunity to break out this year in the in-state club picture.


Chris Cristian is the head coach of this team, which is having a lot of success in the early portion of the 2020 club season. 17 Blue opened with a 3-0 start in the Michiana Open Power League earlier this month and is coming off a 5-1 record at the Central Zone Invitational last week, placing fifth in the 17 Club Blue division. This team has a lot of great chemistry, likely due to their close connections. Five of the 10 on the roster come from Saline, a team that was consistently in the middle of our Division 1 team
