Bloomington Jefferson | 2022
State
MN
– 5’10 | Opp | Club:
Vital Volleyball
16-1 Gold
As a lefty she brings a nice dimension to the right side of this team’s offense. She was a primary weapon for her Bloomington Jefferson high school team with the ability to score through a variety of attack points and tempos. She has a good range of shots through the deep court, down the line, and off speed. She looks to be most comfortable and aggressive through a moderate to quicker tempo overhead and can get on the ball fast when she has good balance and space. She provides good stability with her ball control and defense as well.

Bloomington Jefferson | 2022
State
MN
– 5’10 | OH | Club:
Vital Volleyball
16-1 Gold
With a recorded 26″ vertical she can elevate and get on the ball in a hurry. She makes a great move in both serve-received and transition footwork to build momentum and get good lift on balance with a double-arm rise off the floor. She is dynamic and her effectiveness is capitalized by good torque in the air of which she can move the ball around upon contact and with good pace at times. She can be effective from both sides of the court and has good court sensibility to option specific attack points based upon her transition opportunities and timing.
Jayna Bredenberg

Southwest Christian | 2022
State
MN
– 5’6 | L/DS | Club: Northern Lights 16-1
Recognized to the AVCA’s phenom’s list in 2019, Bredenberg has the opportunity to emerge as the premiere libero in Minnesota’s 2022 class. She has all the qualities to stabilize the ball control and defense for any team with good patience, vision, balance, and pursuit. She plays with simple and deliberate mechanics without much wasted movement around the court. Arguably the two most elite liberos of the 2022 class compete for this team and Bredenberg makes a very strong case for consideration as the best.
Natalie Schmitz

Schmitz

Blaine | 2022
State
MN
– 6’1 | MH | Club: Kokoro 16-1
Schmitz has tools that will make people take notice. She is long and rangy with quick mobility. She works hard to make herself available and create her opportunities in transition and can be difficult to defend given her quick lift and contact point in the air. She opens herself up well to her setter and has good vision and can make decisions accordingly to swing aggressively or purposely tip control her swing to open space. A key element of the Blaine high school offense, Schmitz’s athleticism allows her to move quickly and effectively between the pins when blocking as well. Her stock will rise as a key member of this Kokoro squad that recently won the Big City Luau.
Abby Frie

Minneota | 2022
State
MN
– 6’0 | MH/OH | Club: SWMNVB 16-1
A Camden all-conference honorable mention selection in 2019, Frie has steadily grown her skills and confidence to become a viable all-around contributor as a middle hitter and offensive option in the middle. She helped lead Minneota to the class A state championship and is a key factor in her club team’s competitive experience this season. A strength of hers is in her blocking as she has good instincts and mechanics that put a lot of pressure on opposing hitters. Her stock is certain to rise as she continues to make progress in developing her skills and confidence playing for a great SWMNVB squad and among some of the best athletes from southwest Minnesota in the 2022 class.
