Here are five Union Volleyball Club 16s to watch.
Kayla Bryant: A 5-9 sophomore outside hitter/defensive specialist from Sacred Heart Academy, Bryant excelled throughout the 2019 high school season. Among the most productive players for Sacred Heart Academy, Bryant logged 179 kills, 196 digs, 53 aces and 29 blocks in 2019.
Kelsey Hillebrand: A 6-2 sophomore middle blocker from North Oldham High School, Hildebrand appeared in 15 matches for her high school team during the 2019 season. Hildebrand is a force at the net.
Julia McNeeley: A 5-9 sophomore outside hitter/opposite hitter from Sacred Heart Academy, McNeeley recorded 40 kills, 91 digs and 24 aces during the 2019 high school season. McNeeley was a consistent contributor for Sacred Heart Academy.
Mary Schneidtmiller: A 6-2 sophomore middle blocker/opposite hitter from Mercy Academy, Schneidtmiller is another force at the net. Schneidtmiller appeared in three matches for state runner-up Mercy during the 2019 prep season.
Brenna Young: A 5-9 outside hitter/setter from South Oldham High School, Young is expected to be among the leaders for her prep team in the fall. But first, Young will look to step up to help lead her club team during the a 2020 season.
