A Metro West all-conference selection, Howell was a key factor in the St. Louis Park run to the class 3A state tournament this past fall. She has good size as an outside hitter at 6’0 tall with a solid all-around skill set to fufill a six-rotation role in that position. She displays good arm control upon her approach and lift to take the ball through various zones of the opponent’s court. She also has experience as a high-volume attacker for her high school team with ability to score points effectively through a variety of attack points and tempos.

Olson made a big case for herself as a next-level prospect during the 2019 high school season for Willmar. She was a Central Lakes all-conference selection as well as a West Central all-area honorable mention honoree. She amassed 288 kills on the season along with 264 digs proving her value around the floor. She is strong and athletic in her movements with an aggressive attacking mindset through her arm swing. She elevates well and can bring good pace.
Olivia Koeppen – 5’7 | S/DS | M1 171 | Prep Dig #45
Koeppen directed a varied and effective offense for a Minnetonka squad that advanced to the class 3A state championships. She has good athleticism, volleyball knowledge, and court awareness that benefit her well through both her setting role as well as in her defense. The quality of her play in both of these areas make her a versatile prospect that includes proven competition experience and success. Her M1 171 team is full of highly skilled athletes that should continue to compete well as the season progresses. Look for Koeppen to help elevate their level of play.
Claire Vekich – Greenway HS | Prep Dig #46
Vekich had a monster high school season in leading her Greenway team to the consolation win at the class 1A state tournament. Along the way she garnered all-area Player of the Year honors in addition to her class 1A all-state 1st team recognition. At 5’10 she maximizes her athleticism and skills to the fullest that often involves great strength in her play at the net and terrific power coming off of her arm. Whether attacking through a middle approach pattern or truer to the left pin, Vekich can bring the heat while also mixing in some off speed shots that keep the defense guessing. She is a high-volume attacker and relentless in her work to score the point for her team, which at times is quite impressive in the manner in which she can terminate the ball.
