The Lexington United players from the Class of 2020 headed to the next level are Taylor Trammell (Purdue University), Alyssa Evans (Marshall University), Hannah Kazee (University of South Alabama), Sarah Mitchell (Eastern Kentucky University), Katie Stonich (Concordia University Chicago) and Taylor Thacker (Campbellsville University).
A closer look at Lexington United’s three early commits from the Class of 2021 follows.
Ellery Gray (Villanova University): A productive setter, Gray has committed to Villanova University. Looking ahead to the club season, Gray is poised to help lead Lexington United.
Reagan McLean (Marshall University): In the fall, during the high school season, McLean (6-0), an outside hitter, helped to lead upstart Great Crossing in its debut campaign. McLean has committed to Marshall University.
Emma Shadwick (Yale University): There’s an Ivy League-bound player within the Lexington United organization. A 6-1 outside hitter, Shadwick has committed to Yale University. Shadwick has been a longtime leader for Henry Clay High School.
