Events like we had this Friday night just get me fired up.  The energy was great, athletes were smiling, laughing, encouraging each other and plenty of them were not from the same team.  A lot of them had probably played against each other at one point or another, but in this case it’s brand new. Pick up volleyball can have its challenges with athletes being accustomed to various styles of sets, including the trust between the setters and attackers is so key.  However, Friday was on point with lots of electric connections which allowed more players to really shine.

Annie Stotlar - Iowa Select 17 Mizuno - Bettendorf

Class of 2021 - Pin Hitter

Stotlar continues to impress on both pins.  She can attack from the left side or head on over to the right side and do the same.  She is a swiss army knife type attacker where she can find multiple ways to put a ball down from multiple positions.

Macey Tisue - CIA 17 Black - Dunkerton (Title Photo)

Tisue first came up on the radar in Des Moines with our Iowa Top 250
