Elizabeth Kish – THR33 Storm 18 National
Elizabeth Kish said goodbye to prep volleyball on a sour note – dropping the state title match with Logan-Rogersville against St. Francis Borgia. The outside hitter can turn sour into sweet by helping THR33 Storm 18 National garner a bid for Nationals this weekend. She had a strong senior season for the Wildcats, averaging almost a pair of kills per game, as well as ending the season with 31 blocks.
Paige Lamm – H2 VB Academy Blue
Paige Lamm got a bit of a late start in volleyball – she began playing in middle school. But boy, has she made up for lost time. The middle hitter had a monster year with 328 kills, 44 blocks and 46 service aces. The California High School senior was named to the Missouri High School Coaches Association Class 3 All-State team for her effort. Her hitting percentage went up 130 from her junior and senior seasons; proof positive that hard work pays off.
Kennedy Robbins – H2 VB Academy Blue
The right side has the size at 6’3” to be an imposing figure to opposing defenses – and the swing to go with it. The Rock Bridge High School senior averaged just over two kills per set and had 35 blocks in 2019. She will be one to watch in her final club season in 2020. With Lamm and Robbins on the same court for H2 VB Blue, they will be a team to watch in 2020.
Elizabeth Stepp – Highlands Performance 18 Rox
Elizabeth Stepp walked away from Liberty High School with a Final Four appearance at State under her belt, a school record 1,018 career digs and all-conference and all-district honors. Pretty good stuff. In volleyball, good defense generates offense – and at defensive specialist, Stepp helped Liberty – and Highlands Performance for several club seasons – generate that offense. She does not let much fall to the floor.
Odyssey Warren – Dynasty 18 Black
WarrenOdyssey Warren worked hard in off-season to improve her skills, attending several camps before her senior year. And it showed. The outside out of Lee’s Summit West had the best season of her prep career, leading the Titans with nearly five kills per set. She also had 31 blocks, 177 digs and 12 aces. Her efforts earned her Class 4 All-State honors. She worked on being more versatile in her game, as well. Hopefully it will pay off for her in her and for Adidas Dynasty 18 Black in Warren’s final club season.
