Rachel Wietzki class of 2020.Rachel Wietzki (Senior, Fremont-Mills, OH/Right)
Rachel usually plays as an OH or Right side hitter for Fremont-Mills high school. She is the top OH for Fremont-Mills last fall. Her high school stats are a .282 hitting efficiency with 3.04 KPS, a .904 serve efficiency with 21 aces, 2.13 DPS, and 8 total blocks. I am not sure why she hasn’t been snapped up yet but many teams could really use a player like her and are missing out by not investigating this hidden gem more closely.
Rachel Cushing class of 2020.
Rachel Cushing (Senior, Lewis Central, DS/L)
Rachel plays for one of the toughest teams in the Southwest Iowa region. She has a .983 serve efficiency with 19 aces, 67 assists, and 4.63 DPS. She was responsible for the most digs for her high school team last season with 421 total digs and the highest serve efficiency. In other words, she is a very good player. With her help, Lewis Central went 28-7-0.
Peyton Preston (Senior, Omaha Central, OH/Right)
Peyton plays for Omaha Central in Omaha. I hadn’t noticed her until this year at a practice for SWI 3rd Degree. She hits really hard. I was actually looking the other direction when I heard a very loud noise and turned around to see a ball screaming cross-court at me. Peyton has 2.5 KPS, a .922 serve efficiency with 35 aces, 2.3 DPS, and 19 total blocks.
Jadyn Achenbach (Senior, Riverside, Right)
Jadyn is a lefty and plays for Riverside high school. She has 2.63 KPS, a .845 serve efficiency with 44 aces, 1.89 DPS, and 19 total blocks. Jadyn was the top hitter for her high school last fall and one of their best all-around players. She is a smart player who could really be an asset for a college team next fall.
