Again, it’s a start, but for those who are not committed, do not panic (easy to say that during a quarantine right?). Commits will trickle in, even during this time of unease, the process and timeline might change a bit, but we’ll adjust and celebrate when we are all back on the court.
With that being said, here are some commits that happened in Iowa and Wisconsin this past weekend where major players have committed to some successful programs, game-changers who will continue strong traditions at their respective schools and continue their legacy at their high school and club programs.
Iowa
Jadyn Jondle Jadyn Jondle DS/L Clarion-Goldfield Dows | 2021 State IA – Clarion-Goldfield-Dows – Six Pack 17U
Class of 2021 – Libero
Committed to South Dakota
Jondle is heading the University of South Dakota, the reigning Summit League regular season champions who are one of the hottest programs in the Midwest right now. A libero who has been a mainstay for Six Pack and has played in multiple state tournaments, Jondle provides a steady platform that is incredibly dependable against elite level serving and is able to take pace off the ball from a hard swing. She will join the pipeline of Iowa athletes to South Dakota. She will also compete against her high school teammate Morgan Middleton Morgan Middleton OH Clarion-Goldfield Dows | 2021 State IA who will head to North Dakota State. Iowa has been sending plenty of athletes to the Summit League where the RPI of this League continues to soar.

Martha Pace Martha Pace 5'11" | OH West Liberty | 2021 State IA – West Liberty – Iowa Rockets 17R
Class of 2021 – Outside Hitter
Committed to Upper Iowa
Pace is incredibly dynamic with her ability to swing from any front row position. She’s been a mainstay for Iowa Rockets and had a monstrous high school season for West Liberty, reaching the Class 3A state tournament as a major contributor earning 2nd Team All State honors. With her athletic ability, she is a swiss army knife type of athlete who can contribute in multiple ways to a team. If she’s not on the pin she could also be a really key defensive specialist being an outlet for a backrow attack. Upper Iowa spent much of the year in the top 25 and is continuing to build to a strong foundation, going 21-9 competing in the toughest D2 conference in the country in the Northern Sun.
I’m happy to announce my verbal commitment to Upper Iowa university to further my academic and athletic career. Thank you to all of my coaches who helped me get this far. I can’t wait to be a peacock! pic.twitter.com/wgpVw1tqPM
