Here are five Lexington sophomore setters to watch.
Kennedy Beatty: A sophomore right side hitter/setter, Beatty is a student-athlete from Sayre High School. Helping to pace Sayre during the 2019 high school volleyball season, Beatty logged 390 digs, 87 assists and 80 service aces. A versatile performer, Beatty is able to contribute from multiple positions and provides precise passes regularly.
Izabella Carter Izabella Carter S Bryan Station | 2022 State KY : A sophomore setter, Carter is a student-athlete from Bryan Station High School. Among the top players in the Class of 2022, Carter is a longtime offensive leader who excels at setting and passing while delivering defensively. Carter (5-11) is competing for KIVA 16 Red.
Emily Fraim: A sophomore setter, Fraim is a student-athlete from Lexington Catholic High School. Looking to make an impact for her prep team later in the year, Fraim is emerging into a consistent setter while showing the ability to communicate well with teammates. Madi Knapp: A sophomore setter/right side hitter, Knapp is a student-athlete from Tates Creek High School. Continuing to improve heading into her junior season in high school, Knapp communicates alignment changes defensively and helps execute offensive plays well.
