Jesewitz has one of the best last two steps among these high-level pin attackers in Minnesota’s class of 2021. This helps her maximize her elevation and contact point in the air. Her length is another asset that benefits her in all facets of the game. She is agile with good quickness in her footwork and understands how to control the ball with her arm. She can score with the same power through a variety of zones, by overpowering the block, and in making aggressive shots to counter the position of the defense. Offensively, she also contributes well from the back row as a reliable option while also having the ability to cover good space defensively. Wayzata had a phenomenal season in 2019 as the class 3A state champion. With the departure of some key seniors, Jesewitz should be their first option, which means an increase in her offensive opportunities. As she was recognized as an all-state honorable mention selection a season ago, she has the skills and veteran experience to lead the Trojans to another deep postseason effort.

– 6’0 | OH | HS: Northfield | Club: Northern Lights | Prep Dig #8
Reilly has a cannon of an arm and brings pace and heat that rivals any of the pin attackers in top 10. A 2019 all-state honorable mention selection for Northfield, she has a near 10’ approach touch and some of the best torque in the air. She attacks with a point scoring mentality and effort that involves fluid footwork through to a big bow and arrow. When her feet back to the ball she can produce great lift and swing with power through all zones of the court, which makes her difficult to slow down. She is equally effective from both pins and and through other mid-tempo options across the net. Northfield was one of the best class 3A teams in 2019 and fell just shy of a state tournament appearance. They return great ball control and a terrific offensive core led by Reilly. The Raiders should undoubtedly be among the early season favorites.
