Everything is bigger in Texas, and the outside hitters are no different. Big swings, big blocks, and big personalities can be found among the OH in the Lonestar state. As a coach, having a dynamic and athletic outside who can consistently take control of the game on offense, play solid defense, and pass nails on serve receive is a vital piece of the puzzle to a successful, well-rounded team. These freshmen will be valuable assets to their future college teams as leaders on the outside.

One of the best outsides in the freshman class, Krista has coordination that allows her to see the court well. Her height at 6’3” gives her the ability to hit around blocks and hit off-speed shots around defenses. Off of transition, she can swing well across the front line. On her approach, she can touch 10’ which gives her an advantage on the pins at such a young age.
