Here are four Louisville high school liberos on the rise.
Karla Dryer: A sophomore libero, Dryer is a student-athlete from Southern High School. Still an underrated young high school volleyball player, Dryer built some momentum during the 2019 prep season. A productive passer who fares well defensively, Dryer has demonstrated that she has good ball control and can communicate effectively. Dryer is a proven team player who is expected to make an impact for her high school team later in the year.
Paige Frantz: A sophomore libero, Frantz is a student-athlete from Pleasure Ridge Park High School. Frantz contributed for Pleasure Ridge Park during the 2019 high school volleyball season and will be expected to produce more in the upcoming prep campaign. Consistent, Frantz has quick reactions and has shown that she can receive serves successfully. Frantz is an effective passer who has the ability to lead a team.
Elle Jackson: A freshman libero, Jackson is a student-athlete from Mercy Academy. Jackson competed for Union Asics 15-2 during the 2020 club volleyball season earlier in the year. One of the promising young players for reigning state runner-up Mercy Academy, Jackson is a precise passer and possesses solid digging skills. Jackson covers the floor quickly and has good ball control, especially for a 15-year-old. Following a successful club season stint, Jackson is poised to produce in her next high school campaign.
Chloe Osborne Chloe Osborne OH Male | 2022 State KY : A sophomore libero/outside hitter, Osborne is a student-athlete from Male High School. Versatile and productive, Osborne chipped in for Male during the 2019 high school volleyball season. Osborne excels offensively and defensively, thriving in multiple categories. With the ability to play various positions, Osborne is a key player for her team. A strong hitter and a skilled passer, Osborne is also efficient as a setter.
