– 6’3 | MB | HS: Lakeville North | Club: Northern Lights | Prep Dig #60
Milner has been so fun to watch progress over the past couple of seasons. She is certainly developing in all areas of the game and has DI potential. She continues to grow her confidence in her offensive skills as her mobility and movement are more fluid. Additionally, she is showing greater consistency in her momentum and spacing around the setter. Her arm work is improving well as she is seemingly creating more torque and power. At 6’3 she uses her length well with a high contact point and also on the defensive side to put good pressure on opposing attackers. She could be an x-factor for Lakeville North this fall as they have good pin action and a terrific counterpart for Milner in the middle. If she can consistently produce during her three front-row rotations then the Panthers will be really tough to beat.

– 5’4 | S/OH | HS: Mabel-Canton | Prep Dig #61
If is seems that McCabe has been around for a long time, well, she has. Entering her final season as a varsity member for Mabel-Canton, McCabe will continue to add to her astounding numbers in both the setting and digging categories. A varsity member since the 7th grade, McCabe has been a key cog in the Cougars’ success as she provides great leadership and energy along with great competitiveness. At 5’4 she is athletic with good skills to score points as an attacker if needed. She is a repeat class A all-state selection from 2018 and 2019 and could be in the mix for Ms. Baden in 2020 given her incredible numbers and impact.

Willman is a libero that simply makes her team better. As a key member for the
Lakeville South
program she will once again be at the center of their ball control and defense as the Cougars have high hopes for the upcoming high school season with a great core returning. Willman tracks the ball in serve receive very well while also reading the court through great eyework and preparation defensively. She has great quickness and understands so well how to create angles and guide the ball in both routine and tough situations. She will be a great addition at the next level.

– 6’1 | MB | HS: MCC | Club: SWMNVB | Prep Dig #65
Hoekman is such an intriguing athlete and has great potential to raise her stock through the next high school season. She has great size, is athletic, and can swing for power and points from anywhere across the net. Listed as a middle for her club team, she looks very comfortable at both the left and right side as she develops good momentum and torque to create dangerously heavy heat and range at the top of her jump. She also is a terrific blocker as she uses fast hands over the net to get on attackers quickly. A Red Rock all-conference selection in 2019 she is certain to repeat that feat this next fall.
Ella Wheatcraft

It is hard not to notice and admire Wheatcraft’s play at libero. She gets herself involved in every play as she provides good direction and communication for her teammates both during and between points. Her skills have her among the better liberos in this class as she creates great angles in both serve receive and defense. She returns to a terrific Lakeville North team that will be among the favorites to get to the state tournament given all the talent coming back. Her ability to stabilize their offense will be a critical element for them, especially with this team’s pair of highly capable middles.
