Here are six 2nd Region setters to watch.
Kylie Hardison: A sophomore setter/defensive specialist, Hardison is a student-athlete from Webster County High School. Appearing in all 33 matches for Webster County during the 2019 high school volleyball season, Hardison displayed multiple skills. Hardison, who is prepping for her junior season, plays both front row and back row effectively, passes consistently and has shown that she knows who to set in various situations.
Amaya King: A sophomore setter/defensive specialist, King is a student-athlete from Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. King was productive offensively and defensively for Madisonville-North Hopkins in 2019. Poised to take to the court as a junior, King, a well-rounded player, communicates well and possesses quickness and a solid vertical jump.
Beth Peebles Beth Peebles S University Heights | 2021 State KY : A junior setter, Peebles is a student-athlete from University Heights Academy. Peebles helped to lead 2nd Region runner-up University Heights Academy (30-6) throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season, recording 808 assists, 163 digs and 65 service aces. The productive Peebles is a leader who thrives as a passer and has an excellent touch. Peebles is headed into her senior season.
Kendyll Prowell: A junior setter/defensive specialist, Prowell is a student-athlete from Caldwell County High School. A versatile player who contributes both offensively and defensively, Prowell posted 386 assists, 173 digs and 83 kills for Caldwell County in 2019. Prowell, who is poised to enter her senior campaign, boasts athleticism, mental toughness and is an exceptional communicator.
Jordan Troutman Jordan Troutman S Henderson County | 2022 State KY : A sophomore setter/right side hitter, Troutman is a student-athlete from Henderson County High School. Troutman helped to pace Henderson County during a 2nd Region championship run in 2019. Leading Henderson County in assists, Troutman was pivotal throughout the title campaign. Preparing for her junior season, Troutman is a solid communicator, precise passer and proven team leader.
Raegan Wooton: A junior setter, Wooton is a student-athlete from Livingston Central High School. Wooton led Livingston Central in assists during the 2019 prep volleyball season. An exceptional passer, Wooton, a senior-to-be, excels as a high level communicator and makes smart decisions while helping her team’s offense flow as a passer
