But the Kokoro volleyball club and their directors have gone above and beyond with their programs, engagement, and encouragement.
Online presence: They have been very active on social media. Between Facebook, Twitter, and other venues, their players are staying in contact with their volleyball family. Whether it’s fun videos of virtual peppering or highlighting memories from the season, they remain connected.
Celebrations: We love how they have been recognizing the accomplishments of their athletes. These players have trained for years and deserve to be celebrated. This includes recent commits:

- Madi Klimek – University of Minnesota Crookston
They also highlighted their players who were rewarded the Athena Award (St. Paul Area)

Challenges: They have taken away the absence of activity by having challenges at home. Players can submit proof of their workouts and win club swag. This is a great way to encourage athletes to stay active, on their own time. It helps teach accountability as it could be the first time players have to be in charge of their own fitness.
Aspirations: Their website lists upcoming opportunities to help keep their young players filled with hope. No one can say what will transpire in the months ahead, but it is refreshing to see the list of summer events. These include
