Annually, the 2nd Region features some of the state’s top high school volleyball players as well as several underrated performers. 

Here are five underrated 2nd Region volleyball players.

Natalie Collier: A junior outside hitter, Collier is a student-athlete from Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. Collier was among the top players for Madisonville-North Hopkins during the 2019 high school volleyball season, registering 179 kills, 387 digs and 75 service aces. Experienced and poised to thrive as a senior, Collier is an accomplished hitter from the left side that also excels as a productive server. 

Evelyn Morales: A junior outside hitter, Morales is a student-athlete from University Heights Academy. Morales was a key contributor for University Heights throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season, recording 171 kills, 156 digs and 55 service aces in 35 matches as the Blazers (30-6) won an 8th District title and finished as the 2nd Region runner-up. An athletic player, Morales elevates well and is a stout blocker who is fearless at the net. 

Kendyll Prowell: A junior setter/defensive specialist, Prowell is a student-athlete from Caldwell County High School. Versatile, Prowell posted 386 assists, 173 digs and 83 kills for Caldwell County in 2019. Prowell is an accurate
