Ashlyn Bellamy Ashlyn Bellamy 6'1" | OH Lee's Summit | 2023 State MO – OH – Lee’ Summit High School
The Tigers graduated some key players in 2020. Many young players contributed to a 21 win season for the Tigers. Expect Bellamy to take on an even greater role this year. In her freshman season, she had 200 kills and 344 digs. She has the potential to put up all-state caliber numbers this fall.
Jordan Stout – MH/OH – Lee’s Summit High School
Stout put together a very solid freshman campaign for herself. Her game will continue to develop on the offensive end. She has displayed the ability to swing from the middle and the pin. Last season, Stout had 128 kills. She has already proved herself defensively, sending back 76 balls.
Calissa Minatee Calissa Minatee 6'0" | MB North Kansas City | 2023 State #25 Nation MO – MH – North Kansas City High School
The freshman kicked the door down upon her arrival in 2019. She was among the state’s leaders in hitting percentage with a .508. Standing at 5’11″, she had 224 kills on the season along with 53 blocks. With a few key players returning for the Hornets, look for them to build on the success they had last year and Minatee will be a key.
Kira Cherry – MH – Oak Park High School
Another young middle hitter with enormous potential in the 2023 class. Cherry exhibited flashes of talent in her first season with the Northmen. She had 104 kills and 28 blocks for the young team. As long as they stay in system, she will be the go-to player for Oak Park this fall.
Isabel Day Isabel Day 5'9" | DS/L Park Hill South | 2023 State MO – OH – Park Hill South High School
As a 6 rotation outside, Day made a name for herself in her first season. A very skilled player, we should see a break-out year in 2020.
