Nicole Prell, 2022, 5’11, MH, Barrington, Sky High 16 Vunic
One of four underclass middles at Barrington, Prell is the youngest but has a lot of talent, but she will have an opportunity to prove herself. A good club season almost always leads to a better fall high school finish.
Ann Marie Remmes Ann Marie Remmes 6'2" | MB Benet | 2022 State #154 Nation IL , 2022, 6’1, MH, Benet, Adversity
Remmes is the real thing: A player already reaching her high projection and on track to be one of the best middles in her class. She shines brightly playing for Adversity , but look for her to take a leadership role on the Benet Team as they graduated five key players from last year’s state championship team.
Megan Langdon, 2022, MH, Crystal Lake South
Langdon also plays soccer at CLS, but she has the potential to be a solid all-around middle. She has speed, mobility and she has an innate sense of where the hole in the block is.
Isabella Samsa, 2022, 5’11, MH, Downers Grove North
Downers Grove North has a talented outside that will turn heads, but if you don’t have a middle to keep the other team honest, the block will camp on the pins. Samsa can do just that. Get enough swings to hold the defense and to open up the offense. She also brings a solid block into the DGN game.
Emma Schroeder Emma Schroeder DS/L Hononegah | 2022 State IL , 2022, 6’2, MH, Hononegah
A tall block and a solid swing, Schroeder has her work cut out for her as there are high expectations of this Hononegah team. She may not get the ball the most often but will take advantage of the sets she sees. A very big block in the middle who will hold the team together at the net.
