The Village of Milford is renowned for many things.

This includes, “The downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places, yet the places and spaces beyond it are just as memorable, including both familiar retailers and Milford-exclusive spots,” according to Meetmeinmilford.com.

The City of Utica also has its own claims to fame. Known as, “The Pioneer City”, it is described by Cityofutica.org as, “an example of small town life with all the amenities of the larger communities in the Detroit metro area. Our schools, both parochial and public, are some of the best in the State.”

On the surface it may not appear clear what these destinations have in common. But, one thing both locations are absolutely on the same page about is club volleyball. It’s a passion and a commitment that runs deep in both communities, and the 14U athletes in this mix are certainly no exception. As for the up-and-coming volleyball players from those communities in that age group, that’s a world that revolves around the talents and skill-sets of athletes such as…
