Carter Boothattention they deserve. Prep Dig Gauntlet year two was gearing up to be quite the event with 14s through 17s/18s at the Milwaukee Sting Center with an elite field with some of the top teams in the country. The 17s division had teams committed who would be making threats at a USAV National title and athletes committed to top programs across the country. Here are a few match ups we would have loved to have seen.
Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold vs. Colorado Juniors 17 Kevin
Sting 17 Gold had defeated A5 17 Jing twice, once at Central Zone and again to claim a bid at the Northern Lights Qualifier for USAV 17 Open. They would have added Alexis Boling Alexis Boling 6'0" | OH Waukesha West | 2021 State WI , a North Dakota State recruit who was out the first two months with a knee injury, but the powerful middle blocker along with the likes of Jordan Berglin Jordan Berglin 5'9" | OH Pewaukee | 2021 State WI (Flagler), Katie Winkler Katie Winkler 5'11" | RS East Troy | 2021 State WI (Seton Hall), and Kaitlyn Riley Kaitlyn Riley 6'0" | MB Catholic Memorial | 2021 State WI (Baylor). Colorado Juniors was bringing one of the most physical teams you would find in the country starting with Minnesota commit Carter Booth, one of the top 2022 athletes in the nation. Between these two teams there would be plenty of power and physicality at the net with plenty of top twenty five programs on hand.

Speed and skill is the name of the game for these two squads. I was able to see Adversity 17 Adidas defeat Northern Lights 17-1 at Triple Crown. This team has athletes all around and plays with plenty of ball control and tempo to give anyone fits. Ava Tortorello Ava Tortorello 5'8" | DS/L Latin School | 2021 State IL , an Arizona commit can do it all with her defense and setting to a variety of attackers in Gig Barr (Yale), Madi Malone Madi Malone 6'0" | OH Newark | 2021 State IL (Milwaukee), and Esma Ajanovic Esma Ajanovic 6'1" | RS Niles North | 2021 IL (Loyola) a fiery lefty right side. Ann Marie Remmes Ann Marie Remmes 6'2" | MB Benet | 2022 State #154 Nation IL would be a top 2022 prospect to watch on this court as well. Circle City always has teams competing at the Open level for USAV and 17 Purple is no different with five division one commits with in state commit with middle Kabria Chapman (Indiana) and another big lefty swing on the right side in Kenadee Coyle Kenadee Coyle 6'2" | RS Bloomington South | 2021 State IN who will head to Western Kentucky, a traditional NCAA tournament team.

Sting 17 Black has a squad of plenty of college prospects where they are full of power and balance. Payton Kuepers Payton Kuepers 6'1" | OH Lakeside Lutheran | 2021 State WI was bringing quite the swing from the left or right side as well as Bella Bratzke.
