– 5’11 | MH | Centennial | Prep Dig #79
A Northwest Suburban all-conference selection last season, Crowl is an energetic middle and can provide a big spark for her team with her offense. She is capable of terminating the ball in a variety of ways, which broadens Centennial’s attack when she can either swing in front or behind the setter. She has an aggressive arm swing with vision and awareness to swing sharply around the block with good pace as well as push or tip to open space for kills. Her versatility also includes being able to swing from the pins making her a bigger threat to opponents to maintain awareness of where she is across the front row. Led by Crowl, Centennial has some good pieces returning and good give conference teams some fits throughout the season

– 6’1 | RS/OH | Jordan | Prep Dig #84
A varsity starter since the 9th grade, Schmidt has good size as a pin attacker and is effective offensively from both sides of the floor. Her transition work off the net is aggressive and allows her time to build her momentum to approach. She draws her elbow back well and can generate good power when balanced in the air. As she can score from both pins she looks more comfortable and effective from the opposite side. Her senior year is one in which her stock could grow given the volume of attacks she could see over the course of the season.

– 6’0 | MH | Minnetonka | Prep Dig #91
Smith shows good presence at the net as she is active on both sides of the ball. She tracks the ball well in transition to make herself available on a quick tempo option around the setter. She elevates and opens well with good spacing to be able to get a good swing on the ball. She has good blocking mechanics as her vision and patience help with her first step to get to the pins to close. With the right mechanics she can get up with her elbows at the tape to fill good space. She helps provide offensive depth in the middle for a Minnetonka team that will be looking to repeat their state appearance from 2019.

– 5’8 | OH | Sibley East | Prep Dig #94
Bates was a MN River all-conference selection in 2019 and will be back to lead Sibley East once again through a tough conference schedule. She has good athleticism at 5’8 as a left side pin attacker. Combine this with good footwork and she can generate some good power through her arm swing. She also has good skills as a six-rotation athlete to pass, play defense, and put up a block that can apply good pressure to opposing hitters. Keep an eye on Bates as she has a skill set that could translate well to a competitive small college program.

Eden Prairie | 2021
State
MN
– 5’6 | DS | Eden Prairie | Prep Dig #100
Madson has great command of the libero role as seen in her play with her M1 team this recent club season. She starts and finishes each play in a balanced yet dynamic position that allows her to have great control over her platform and the angles she creates. Her vision leads to good footwork to pursue the serve or attack as her quickness involves great reaction to the play as it develops. This is an athlete that has stock rising potential to move up among the player rankings over the course of the next several months towards an opportunity at the next level. She will be a significant factor for Eden Prairie and their ability to get their offense in system to capitalize on some of the athletic attackers they feature.
