The 10th Region had its share of parity during the 2019 high school volleyball season and multiple squads are likely to show improvement during the upcoming campaign. 

Here are three 10th Region teams on the rise. 

Bishop Brossart: Productive Bishop Brossart compiled a 21-14 record in its most recent campaign but missed out on advancing to the 2019 10th Region Volleyball Tournament. Bishop Brossart's 2019 season ended with a loss to longtime rival Scott in the 37th District Volleyball Tournament Semifinals. However, Bishop Brossart is reloading for the 2019 high school volleyball season. Seniors Marie Kiefer (461 kills, 211 digs, 51 service aces) and Raele Ruschman (105 kills, 649 assists, 210 digs, 33 service aces) along with freshman Madelyn Kremer (234 digs) are headed back to the court for experienced Bishop Brossart. 

Montgomery County: After posting a 40th District runner-up finish, Montgomery County made an appearance in the 2019 10th Region Volleyball Tournament. Following a loss to Harrison County in the opening round of the 10th Region Volleyball Tournament, Montgomery County ended the 2019 season 14-21. With several experienced players due back, Montgomery County is poised to carry momentum over into the 2020 season. Junior outside hitter Ansley Shields (254
