One place height is truly valued on the volleyball court in 16U competition is the center of the front line, a position also known as Middle Blocker.

Two organizations that are hoping to excel at that spot and age group in 2020 are Legacy Volleyball Club (VBC) in Macomb County and Haifive VBC in Chelsea. Even though that may equate to different training methods considering Legacy VBC has National Elite and National Lite level teams beyond its ADIDAS squads while Haifive’s roster just doesn’t run that deep, in the end the results often times turn out to be at least somewhat similar.

As for the Middle Blockers in 16U action currently taking the court for these clubs that could end up excelling in the games to come, among them are…

 

MIKAYLA KEEFER

This six-foot Middle Blocker sports jersey number 10 for Legacy Volleyball Club (VBC) 16-1 ADIDAS. Off the court Keefer is scheduled to graduate in 2022 from Ann Arbor Huron High School (HS).
