An all-conference selection in 2019, Coplan is one of the most athletic members of this team and certainly their biggest arm. She can generate good power from the left pin as she gets her elbow back well and uses her torque well. She moves around the floor well, can establish a decent block given her size, and contributes well defensively and in serve receive.

Holker has great skills as a setter and certainly will be among the best in this conference. She pursues the ball well with good footwork and can distribute the full range of the court with good location and tempo, while maintaining those results through against-the-flow situations. She gets her hands on a lot of second touches in out-of-system situations, not relying on her platform, which is a big skill given how good her hands and location are. She has great stock rising potential and could emerge as one of the top setters in this class over the next couple of seasons.

– 5’11 | MH | North Branch
Peaslee was a steady role player for a North Branch team that was fairly dominant in 2019. Her role and contributions should increase in 2020 given the graduation of some key elements that helped lead this squad to some great results at the state level in recent years. She has good court awareness and can be effective as a quick option in front of the setter and on the defensive side to establish a well formed block. She will become increasingly effective if she can increase her foot and arm speed.

– 5’11 | MH | Chisago Lakes
Peltier is definitely an athlete that has been under the radar for Prep Dig and is certain to enter the prospect rankings with the next update. She is very engaged in the Wildcat’s offense as a middle and makes herself available as much as possible. She creates good spacing and timing to utilize her arm speed and reach to her advantage while having the ability to hit aggressively through a full range of the opponent’s court. When all of these elements are in sync she can put some great pace on the ball for points. Her reach also benefits her well as a blocker as she can fill up space well above the net. She helps form one of the best middle tandems in this conference.
Olivia Stockham

Big Lake | 2022
State
MN
– 5’8 | L/DS | Big Lake
The other returning all-conference selection on this list, Stockham has a good skill set highlighted by her ball control and defense. Competing a lot in the role of libero for her club team she showed great range her in her ability to pass and dig, which begins with her vision and balance as the opponent’s play develops. She has a good first step and makes great adjustments on the move to create good angles. Look for her to continue making big plays throughout the high school season as she has great ability to track down balls to keep them off the floor and create opportunities for her team’s offense.
Faith Zins

Princeton | 2022
State
MN
– 5’9 | S/RS | Princeton
Zins is a great utility-type of athlete given her skills as a setter and ability to take aggressive swings. She has good touch on the ball when setting and is very offensive with good court awareness to send the ball over on the second contact to put a lot of pressure on the opponent’s defense. As an attacker, when her footwork and timing are in place she can create some good power behind the ball. She helps form a good setting duo for this Princeton team and will be relied upon a lot for her competitiveness and veteran experience and leadership in 2020.
