Daley McClellen, 5’11”, OH, Canby High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, University of Oregon
McClellan, a three-year Varsity starter at Canby High School, has helped the Cougars become a dominant program. Awarded Three Rivers First Team All-League all three years and winning Player of the Year 2019 for the Three Rivers League, she has solidified her legacy within the Canby volleyball program. With McClellan playing all six rotations for the Cougars, they advanced to the semi-finals in the State tournament, finishing 3rd, a first for Canby volleyball. “She is a workhorse on the court and a great teammate and is surprisingly humble. She is the kind of player that is dominant, but always makes the players around her better…Nobody on her team resented her for getting all the swings. That says a lot about her character and the kind of teammate she is,” said coach TJ Schlatter. At State, she was awarded First Team All-State for 6A. Last club season she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy on their 18-1 National team along with two other juniors. Coming into her senior season for Canby, it will be exciting to watch her dominate one last time, before heading to the University of Oregon.
Audra Wilmes, 6’2″ OH West Linn North Pacific Juniors University of Washington
Wilmes, a standout her freshman year at Canby High School, being awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League, did not let a new school stop her from doing her thing. After transferring to West Linn High School for her sophomore season, she helped the Lions finish third at the State tournament in 2019. That season she was awarded Three Rivers First Team All-League. During her 16U club season, she played for North Pacific Juniors and was given the opportunity to play for their 18-1 National team which finished first in the region. This past high school season, Wilmes, playing all six rotations, helped them secure a fifth-place State finish in 2019 and was awarded Three Rivers First Team All-League as well as Second Team All-State for the tournament. Last club season she played for North Pacific Juniors on their 18-1 National team. Coming into her senior season for West Linn, it will be exciting to her and the Lions do, before she heads to the University of Washington.
Emily Bourne Emily Bourne 6'0" | OH Santiam Christian | 2021 State OR , 6’0″, OH, Santiam Christian High School, North Pacific Juniors, Oregon State University
Bourne had another standout season for the Eagles, the top 3A program in the state, winning eight state titles since 2009. The Eagles were the only OSAA program to go unbeaten, a feat in large part due to Bourne. In the championship match, she had 20 kills and 12 digs and was awarded Player of the Match and First Team All-Tournament. During her sophomore season, she was awarded Mountain Valley First Team All-League as well as Player of the Year. With her big arm, she has the ability to play any position across the front row and dominate at it. Last club season she played for North Pacific Juniors on their 18-1 National team. Coming into her senior season for Santiam Christian, it will be exciting to watch her commanding presence on the court for a final season, before heading to Oregon State University.
Clarissa Klein Clarissa Klein 6'1" | OH Wilsonville | 2021 State OR , 6’1″, OH, Wilsonville High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Klein, a two-year Varsity starter for Wilsonville High School, uses her 6’1” stature as a pin hitter to her advantage. She racked up 278 kills, hitting a .333, as well as 34 total blocks last season. Not only can she offensively play well, but in the back row, she uses her athleticism to keep her team in system, totaling 154 digs. Often not seen in high school level play, Klein has a lethal topspin jump serve which helped her accrue 66 aces, a 23.7% ace percentage. She was awarded Northwest First Team All-League and Second Team All-State for the 5A tournament. Last club season she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 18-1 National team, one of three juniors on the team. As she comes into her senior season for Wilsonville, it will be exciting to watch her dominate. She is currently uncommitted to a school for 2021 but we cannot wait to see where she will end up.
Jasmine Sells Jasmine Sells 5'11" | OH Lincoln | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, OH, Lincoln High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Sells had another solid season for the Lincoln High School Cardinals, being awarded Portland Interscholastic First Team All-League two years in a row. As a freshman, she was awarded Portland Interscholastic Honorable Mention All-League. Beginning her career, she played in the middle but has since transitioned to an outside hitter role given her exceptional defense and high vertical and fast arm swing. A versatile athlete, she had to step into a setter position for her high school team. Last club season she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy’s 17-1 National team. She is currently uncommitted to a school for 2021 but it will be exciting to see where she will end up
Dowdall, 6’0″, OH, Jesuit High School, Athena Volleyball Academy
Dowdall had a breakout season for the Jesuit High School Crusaders, helping them win a 6A State championship. She was awarded Metro First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-State. Previously a middle blocker, she transitioned to outside given her powerful swing and a stacked middle position at Jesuit High School. Though making the Varsity squad as a freshman, she was able to make her way into the starting lineup this season and made an immediate and lasting impact. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy’s 17-1 Gold team. She is currently not committed to a school for 2021 but wherever she ends up she is sure to make an impact.
