Having a good libero can be the difference in a team’s success on the court. Here are some of the best ‘bros’ who played at the Prep Dig Summer Showcase in the classes of 2023 and 2024.
Claire Luoma – Class of 2024 – Franklin
Claire is an impressive libero. She picks up balls that most people would assume are dead. She reads hitters very well and makes truly incredible digs. Claire is also a solid serve receiver and good teammate on the court supporting her setter and hitters on serve receive, offense, and defense.
Jae Fitting – Class of 2024 – Cedarburg
Jae plays well across the back row. She crosses well with the athletes around her and can pick up nearly any ball along the backline which is some of the hardest to pick up. She is comfortable taking the seams on serve receive and is calm and confident in the back row. Her amazing passes and ability to get a hand on nearly any ball frustrates opponents regularly.
Ella Quiring Ella Quiring 5'6" | DS/L Southwest Christian | 2023 State MN – Class of 2023 – Minnehaha Academy
Ella has a great platform and moves well to the ball. Her fundamentals are textbook perfect which allows her to hit good angles with her platform on even the toughest swings. Ella is a fun athlete to watch in the back row.
Molly Berezowitz Molly Berezowitz DS/L Burlington | 2023 State WI – Class of 2023 – Burlington
Molly is insanely fast. She reacts quickly on serve receive and defense and works to better the ball every play. She has solid fundamentals and is a huge asset to any team she is on. Her speed allows her to pick up balls many would never get to.
Kyleigh Coghlan Kyleigh Coghlan 5'6" | DS/L Kettle Moraine | 2023 State WI – Class of 2023 – Kettle Moraine
Kyleigh has a great platform and ball control. She is an athlete who really stood out from start to finish at the Summer Showcase. Her fierce defense and consistency on serve receive make her a great libero.
Chloe Bulacan – Class of 2024 – Pewaukee
Chloe is an up can coming libero in the class of 2024. She has great ball control and reads the court well out of middle back. She is an energizer on the court and works well with her teammates.
These ‘bros’ are sure to have successful high school and club seasons. They are fierce defenders in the back row and will protect their side of the court at all costs. All of them have great fundamentals and will frustrate opposing hitters.
