The 11th Region features several talented senior high school volleyball players, some of whom excel in the middle. 

Here are four 11th Region senior middles to watch. 

Makenna Deaton: Among the leaders for Franklin County, Deaton is heading into a promising senior campaign. As a junior during the 2019 high school volleyball season, Deaton recorded 159 kills, 50 blocks, 81 digs and 61 service aces in 35 matches. Agile and able to move to either side and deliver from various parts of the court, Deaton executes fast attacks regularly. 

Lauren ReynoldsLaurenReynoldsMBFrederick Douglass | 2021StateKY: One of the state’s most underrated high school volleyball players, Reynolds is a senior middle blocker for Frederick Douglass. Reynolds was named an All-City performer in Lexington following the 2019 high school volleyball season. A force at the net, Reynolds led Frederick Douglass in kills in 2019. Reynolds is a strong hitter and blocker who possesses solid jumping ability. 

Paige Wagers: Another 2019 All-City honoree from Lexington, Wagers is a senior middle blocker for Henry Clay. Wagers competed for Lexington United 17 Adidas earlier in the year during the 2020 club volleyball season. Expected to take on a larger role for Henry Clay during the 2020 high school
