2024 Lauren Jones, Beach, Millard West

And their high school volleyball careers have only just begun….  The Class of 2024 is locked and loaded already! Many of these players will make a difference to their team this season and some look to be a big part of their program in the future. Check them out!

HUDL Highlights

As one of the top freshmen coming into this season, Carolyn will take over the setter duties for the Class C2 defending champs. With this role, look to Carolyn to be one of our top-ranked 2024’s at the end of the season!

Coach Sharon Zavala has been hinting to great things with the freshman Maser since last spring!!! As her older sister Katie Maser graduated in 2020 along with six other seniors, the younger sister is ready to make the connections with her new hitters. 

Carolyn comments, “This year I am really excited to play with all of my new teammates and create closer friendships with all of them!”

Jones on her summer, “I just started sand volleyball this year and adjusted to the game very quickly. We had a total of 4 tournaments and we got 3rd in one of them and won the last one which made us state champs. I loved playing sand volleyball because it was very fun and I am definitely looking forward to playing next summer.” Lauren played sand with 2024 Reagan Hickey, Papillion LaVista. Lauren looks forward to court season with her teammates, “I’m looking forward to getting to know the upperclassmen. Everyone who plays on varsity has a very close bond and I would love to be apart of that.” Under 4th year head coach Joe Wessel, the Wildcats come off a 21-12 season and ranked 8th. We are all friends and know we can trust each other on and off the court and we just understand each other. I’m looking forward to playing with Delainey CastDelaineyCast5'7" | OHSyracuse | 2024StateNE, she’s a freshman this year and she has a lot of talent already. I think she’ll really help our team this year.”  Delainey’s goal for the season, “To work hard together and bring each other up in everything we do to be the best team we know we can be.” Traditionally strong and a 23-4 2019 season, the Rockets look to contend for a state tournament spot in the loaded Class C-1 this season.
