The Sunset Slam was an awesome day of volleyball across the board. Teams competed all out in their brackets and athletes stood out on every team. Setters were no different. They were showing their ability to be dynamic, run an offense, adjust to the opponent’s strategies, and keep their hitters at their best.

Here are some of the setters who impressed at the Prep Dig Sunset Slam.

Kate BahrkeKateBahrkeSOconto | 2023StateWI - Class of 2023 - Oconto

Kate moves the ball around incredibly well. She is fast and has good hands. She is a gritty player and very competitive. With athletes like Cora BehnkeCoraBehnke6'0" | OHOconto | 2021StateWI and Hannah Moe on her pins there is always a chance to make some big plays. Kate has a good energy on the court and uses her speed and good hands to set her team up for success… literally.

Andrea Bortulin - Class of 2022 - Luther Prep

Andrea has great hands and is solid on defense and hitting as well. She uses her hitters well and is an energizer on the court. Andrea clearly works hard and makes a huge effort
