The Lakeside Knights swept two matches against Chase and Lincoln on September 15. Two of the Knights most talented players recently took a college visit, however, multiple members of the Lakeside squad are hoping to extend their playing careers past high school are still looking for their first official offers.

Here is a scouting report from the Knights 25-19, 25-16 win over Chase.

The Three Stars of the Game

MH, Payton Hake 5’10” – Hake, a senior, led the Knights in kills with 10. She also added six digs against Chase. She recently made a visit to an NAIA program. She is a strong hitter and solid jumper. She probably tops out as an NAIA recruit, but in-state programs looking for talent she watch her video or see her in person.

OH, Bailee Cunningham, 5’7” – Cunningham, a junior, has some real talent and should be a bonified JUCO recruit. She led the Knights with 12 digs in the match against Chase. She also added six kills. Cunningham as the fastest motor for the Knights and played all over the court.

L, Hailee Thornton , 5’6”– Thornton, also a junior, had a great match. She finished with a team-high 16
